2 - Viewing and Visits
Of course, you may. In fact, we highly recommend it and, excluding in very specific circumstances, we will not send you an official quotation until you have visited the venue. Our experienced team will show you around the house, Pavilion and terraces, will discuss your requirements with you and make recommendations based on your vision. They will also provide you with useful information and advise on the next steps.
Please call the team on 01628 568 500 or email them at events@hurleyhouse.co.uk for an appointment.
You can come back as many times as you wish, by prior arrangement with the team.
3 - Booking
After you have visited us for a viewing and met the team, we will send you a quotation confirming availability of the selected date, the venue hire charges and prices of our starter catering and drinks packages. At this point, we will hold your provisional booking for up to 14 days. Please note that in certain circumstances and depending on the proposed date, this period may be reduced to seven days or less. Our team will advise you, should this be the case.
You will need to sign the contract and pay a non-refundable deposit of £3,500.
Further payments will be required at set intervals prior to your wedding day and will depend on the final guest numbers and the food and drinks options selected.
Our team will recommend preferred suppliers such as photographer, florist, entertainment and/or theming specialists, etc. and work with you to plan your special day.
4 - Civil Ceremony
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Garden Pavilion, our Private Function Room and in the Restaurant. If you choose to hire the entire venue exclusively, you may decide whether to have the ceremony in the Restaurant or Garden Pavilion depending on final numbers. The area selected will be set up specifically for the ceremony.
If you have opted for Day Hire of the Garden Pavilion, then the ceremony will be held in the Garden Pavilion. The area will then be turned around to host your Wedding Breakfast and/or Reception.
You will need to do that directly and we suggest you do it as early as possible.
