After a 24-month refurbishment project, Hurley House Hotel (previously called the Red Lyon) opened its doors to guests in August 2016.
The location of the site was paramount in the decision to rebuild the old pub into a luxury boutique hotel/restaurant.
Hurley House Hotel is the brainchild of Bassam Shlewet (founder and former Chairman of Moneycorp).
The goal was to create a destination venue that raises the bar of expectation. With a substantial financial investment and the help of a great team, Bassam carefully and painstakingly assembled every element to create a contemporary, stylish venue where excellent food and drink can be enjoyed in comfortable surroundings; where leather, granite, limestone, oak and other notable materials combine in a beautiful colour scheme to provide an elegant and discreetly luxurious atmosphere.

Approximately an hours’ drive from Central London – Junction 8/9 (Henley) on the M4 – then it’s 5 miles to Hurley House Hotel.
Less than 10 minutes’ drive from Henley or Marlow Town Centres and 10 minutes’ drive/taxi ride from Maidenhead Train Station.

At Hurley House Hotel, we are always on the lookout for talented, passionate people to join us in a range of positions.
Our sushi is prepared to the highest hygiene standards and packed in special takeaway containers.
Orders will be placed on a dedicated counter in the HH car park, for easy and fast pickup, with no human contact.
