Room was decent size, bed very comfortable, bathroom had shower and bath and it even had an outside patio where we could have a drink before dinner. Food was limited ( due to refurbishment ) and had to pre order in advance but was very good. Service was impeccable from initial booking through to checking out. We requested an early check-in which was confirmed instantly and upon arrival we came into our room with a congratulatory message with chocolates as well as rose petals and towel swans on the bed - a lovely gesture. The food was amazing, the first night we ordered a takeaway from their takeaway service which was delivered to us as room service and the second night we dined in the lovely restaurant! The portions were generous in size. As a side note, the maid service was fantastic and the room was returned to pristine condition whilst we ate dinner. Items were hung up, laundry bags provided and the room smelled amazing. Continental breakfast room service was tasty with generous portions too. We will definitely return!" November 2021
