"Stayed two nights for racing at Ascot. Excellent quality of room meant a great stay for two nights. Peaceful and yet really convenient location. Staff were super friendly and efficient. Breakfast was great. Restaurant not open but recommended alternative was outstanding. Much the best option for visiting Marlow and Henley plus a good option for a convenient spot near to London. Room was decent size, bed very comfortable, bathroom had shower and bath and it even had an outside patio where we could have a drink before dinner. Food was limited ( due to refurbishment ) and had to pre order in advance but was very good. Service was impeccable from initial booking through to checking out. We requested an early check-in which was confirmed instantly and upon arrival we came into our room with a congratulatory message with chocolates as well as rose petals and towel swans on the bed - a lovely gesture. The food was amazing, the first night we ordered a takeaway from their takeaway service which was delivered to us as room service and the second night we dined in the lovely restaurant! The portions were generous in size. As a side note, the maid service was fantastic and the room was returned to pristine condition whilst we ate dinner.
