Absolutely, we would be delighted to welcome you at a time of your convenience subject to availability. We do recommend that you review the initial proposal that we send you before organising a viewing, to ensure the venue is suitable for your budget, size of party, and requirements. We realise that things do change when planning a wedding, but we do want to ensure your time is well spent when you come to see us and that the venue is suitable for all your needs.
During your visit, we will further discuss your requirements with you and make recommendations based on your vision. We will also provide you with useful information and advise you and your partner on the next steps.
Please call the team on 01628 568 500 or email them at events@hurleyhouse.co.uk for an appointment.
Yes, absolutely. Why not make a day of it and enjoy one of our delightful dining experiences such as lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, in our award-winning restaurant. In addition to this, once a deposit has been paid, we can arrange planning meetings at Hurley House at your convenience.
3 - Booking
Yes, we can provisionally hold the date without a deposit for up to 14 days, depending on when your wedding is – this can be discussed in more detail with your wedding specialist.
You will need to sign the contract and pay a non-refundable deposit which varies according to the space that you are hiring. For example, the deposit for the Garden Pavillion would be £3,500.
Further payments will be required at set intervals prior to your wedding day and will depend on the final guest numbers and the food and drinks options selected. All this information will be clearly outlined in the contract.
Our team will recommend preferred suppliers if required such as photographers, florists, entertainment and/or theming specialists, etc., and work with you to plan your special day.
4 - Civil Ceremony
We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in the Garden Pavilion, our Private Function Room, our lawn (max 50 people) and in the Restaurant. If you choose to hire the entire venue exclusively, you may decide whether to have the ceremony in the Restaurant or Garden Pavilion, depending on final guest numbers. The area selected will be set up specifically for the ceremony.
If you have chosen the day hire of the Garden Pavilion, then the ceremony will be held in the Garden Pavilion or on the lawn, depending on the weather and final guest numbers. The Pavilion area will then be rearranged to host your Wedding Breakfast and/or Reception.
You will need to do that directly and we suggest you do it as early as possible. You can find useful information on The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead website, at the following link: https://www.rbwm.gov.uk/community-and-living/births-deaths-and-ceremonies/registrars/weddings-getting-married-forming-civil-partnership
