"Hurley House is a lovely retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. I stayed in a superior room, which was very spacious, clean and had everything I needed for a few days, and I had the most delicious bath thanks to the provided bath salts! The fish and chips at the restaurant is some of the best I’ve ever had - moist perfectly cook cod with crispy airy batter. The English breakfast was also delicious. Service for the hotel and restaurant was great. They were prompt at communications with me, and let me know quickly whether they could accommodate my early check-in and late check-out requests. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area." October 2024

It is a multi-award-winning hotel and restaurant, and has recently won the prestigious Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence, for “Best Value Experience in the UK and Ireland” 2024.
It was also awarded Gold for “Business Events Venue of the Year – 2024” in the Beautiful South Awards.

All well behaved dogs are welcome in the Bar area during lunch on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and in the evening only on Thursday. Dogs are always allowed on the terraces, when open for service.
