About Hurley House Hotel

Hurley House is an award-winning privately owned exclusive boutique hotel, that opened in 2016. It is renowned for its exceptional hospitality, exquisite dining, and bespoke event experiences. We are looking to recruit a full-time Event Co-ordinator. We are offering a salary of £30,476 per annum (plus share of customers gratuities)., for 48 hours/5 days a week shift system, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responding to telephone and/or email events enquiries, and following-up in a timely manner
  • Performing show-arounds to sell our venue to potential clients for all events including weddings
  • Organising and managing all events and supporting clients with catering, theming, entertainment, and events logistics
  • Producing quotations and invoices for each event, and ensuring that payments are received in a timely manner and according to Company procedures
  • Supporting and coordinating external suppliers and contractors

REQUIREMENTS:

Positive personality with a ‘can-do’ attitude. Passionate about events, people, and providing outstanding customer service. You will have at least 3 years of relevant experience gained in a similar role within high-end venues.

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to details are key aspects of this role
  • Time management and organisation skills
  • You will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • You will be extremely accurate and methodical

Please be aware that the hotel is located in a rural location; having your own transportation arrangement is essential.
