Bar Supervisor

We are looking to recruit a full-time Bar Supervisor, for our high-end restaurant. We are offering a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, for a 48 hours/5 days a week shift system, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
The primary focus of the role is to oversee the bar operations, manage the bar, and ensure that every guest enjoys an exceptional drinking experience, in line with our high standards.
Previous experience in a high-end hospitality operation as a Bar Supervisor or Senior Bartender is essential, as well as a passion for delivering outstanding service and a strong knowledge of beverages.
Working as part of the management team, you need to be ambitious, adaptable, and ready to respond to a variety of scenarios and situations. You should be confident in your knowledge of the bar operations and our offerings.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Working alongside the bar team to deliver exceptional service
- Overseeing the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring high standards at all times
- Managing bar stock levels, ordering, and conducting weekly stocktakes
- Training staff in beverage preparation and presentation
- Monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Allergen and COSHH requirements for the restaurant/bar
ESSENTIAL KEY SKILLS:
- Strong working knowledge of bar operations and beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with Stocktake Online and Tevalis systems would be considered an advantage
